Demand Management

Demand management is the art or science of controlling demand, and describes the activities of demand forecasting, planning, and order fulfillment. This course will take you through the concepts and methods employed to manage forecasted demand for goods and services and focuses on the financial version of the forecast for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Financial Fundamentals for the Supply Chain

This course focuses on issues in supply chain finance. Supply chain finance addresses the optimization of both the availability and cost of capital. The availability and cost of capital is normally optimized through the aggregation, integration, packaging, and utilization of all of the relevant information generated in the supply chain in conjunction with cost analysis, cost management, and various supply chain finance strategies.
Inventory Management

Inventory management is determining how much inventory to carry, where to carry it, and how much safety stock is required to meet a company’s cost and customer service objectives. This course focuses on the different approaches to managing all types of supply chain inventories and the variables that will drive the level of inventory to be held.
Materials Requirements Planning

Material requirements planning (MRP) is the system of planning and administration associated with production planning and inventory control used for manufacturing process management. Its purpose is to ensure that materials and products are available for production and delivery to customers. This course addresses manufacturing resources and the MRP and MRPII that takes place in the business process. MRP also focuses on the software applications that support the planning and scheduling functions within manufacturing.

Performance Measurements

Performance Measurements focuses on the collecting, measuring, and comparing of a measure against a standard or objective. Included are key metrics and what should be measured for each one. This course will direct attention to the importance of aligning your measurements to your organization’s vision and strategy.
Physical Distribution Systems - Part One

Physical distribution is the tasks concerned with the planning, implementing, and controlling the flow of material, final goods, and associated information from the point of origin to the customer. Physical distribution takes place within numerous distribution channels. This course will address transportation, warehousing, and related functions.
Physical Distribution Systems - Part Two

Physical distribution is the tasks concerned with the planning, implementing, and controlling the flow of material, final goods, and associated information from the point of origin to the customer. This course will address issues related to reverse logistics, distribution resource planning, procurement, physical distribution interfaces, and related functions.
Quality: An Introduction

The numerous productivity and quality issues relating to product design, processes, and quality from the customer perspective are included in this introductory course. A review of the different philosophies, methodologies, and approaches are offered, including details on total quality management and continuous improvement, lean, and Six Sigma. The facilitator will walk through a process to help you determine which one works best and in which situation.
Sales and Operations Planning

Sales and operations planning (S&OP) is the process of matching supply and demand by integrating demand and sales forecasts from a marketing perspective with operational plans from suppliers, production, and logistics. This course presents the process for integrating a demand forecast with a capacity forecast so supply chain operations are integrated with the marketing and sales functions.
Supply Management: Master Planning & Capacity Management (Parts One and Two)

The supply management course is divided into parts one and two and focus on master planning and capacity management—the business processes for oversight and management of the traditional buying, coordinating, and production functions.
